Located in the San Francisco River Valley at Reserve, New Mexico, El Oso Cabins offers clean and comfortable cabins, RV Park, and numerous campsites long the San Francisco River. Our spacious cabins with kitchenettes are especially ideal for hunting and fishing trips, mountain and cross-country bicycling excursions, family reunions, or general vacationing in the beautiful Gila.
A LOOK AT THE AREA
The Apache and Gila National Forests border one another in this area; the two forests combined cover much of Catron County. The Continental Divide zig-zags through this mountain complex. This area is known for its good trout fishing and elk hunting. However, the area also contains deer, bear, big horn sheep, mountain lion and wild turkey as well as many other wild critters.
